Easy RSS Submission Sites link list - Use RSS Feed sites to get traffic -60dc
88The power of rss feeds - RSS submission list
2011 - the most complete and up to date rss site list on the web, broken services are removed and new services are always added. Links lead straight to submission forms whenever possible.
RSS Feeds are an amazingly powerful tool for getting your online articles, sites, and hubpages quickly indexed and backlinked.
Using an RSS feed submission site allows you to spend a minute and create an automated way to backlink and promote all future posts, articles or hubs that show up on that feed for the life o fthe site you submitted to.
These sites allow you to enter in your desired keywords and description, many times creating a keyword anchored backlink to your work.
RSS Submission sites are very powerful and very easy!

If you look to your right, you will see the most commonly accepted symbol for a rss feed.
Almost every online publishing site and web site development program (content management system) incorporates automatic rss feed creation, if it doesnt - get a new service!
Sometimes, the rss icon is not used, instead you will see the words 'Subscribe to this feed" , this will also lead to the rss feed link.
Where is my RSS Feed Link?
RSS FEED LOCATIONS
HubPages: Under Your Profile Image you will see the link "Subscribe to UserName RSS Feed"
Just right click and copy link: ex) http://hubpages.com/author/sunforged/latest/?rss
At Hubpages all feeds have 3 possible permutations - "latest" can be interchanged with "hot" and "best" also each tag page can be made into a corresponding feed using the addition of ../?rss
Blogger/Blogspot - If you do not see an rss icon - check the bottom of your page for the words "Subscribe to: Posts (Atom)" Right Click on the hyperlink in order to get your feed url.
You can easily find a widget or theme that makes your blogs rss easier to find for your visitors.
WordPress: Most Themes on Wordpress have an easy to find rss icon integrated - if you cannot find your rss feed URL try this - yourdomain.com/wp-feed.php

How should I use RSS submission sites
Depending on your level of dedication and income and traffic desires, you can use as few or as many of these submission sites as you like.
Remember, once an rss feed is submitted it will update every time you create new content. So the 1 minute exercise of adding your feed to a new site is a worthwhile time expenditure.
After, you submit rss feeds for your main sites or hubs - you can continue to submit the feeds for all of your supporting sites, ie Twitter, niche blogs, tag pages, specialized feedburner feeds, adsense revenue backlinking sites etc. If it has a feed its probably worth submitting.
If your an advanced web master with lots of sites and decent income, you may want to consider using an automated rss submission tool. I personally use RSSbot, mostly due to the lifetime upgardes and low cost. But RssSubmit is probably the front runner in submission tools, but has a higher price.
The RSSSubmit Tool DOES offer a 12 day free trial - so perhaps give it a trial run and see if it cuts down on your workload
RSS Submission Tools
You may discover that rss submission can be tedious - trial the software below to see the difference automation can make.
1.
12-day FREE trial to submit your feeds.
2. Submission of up to 3 RSS feeds.
3. Supports a limited number of RSS

sunforged. . though sometimes it seems as if you speak a different language . . this one I really think I understand and feel I have a good hold on!! And I am bookmarking it just in case I need to refresh my overloaded brain:)
This is a elaborate list Sunforged, I never considered RSS FEED to promote my hubs probably because of little knowledge I have about them, but through this challenge am becoming an internet marketer just by learning and implementing these strategy , thanks once more for the 60DC idea
That's an elaborate list. So far i have used only 4-5 of the above sites. Thanks for the information.
This RSS was, is hassled me for a long time. Reading your hub shed a lot of light on it. My sincere thank you for your help and writing it so plainly. Now the only thing where I am still confused is - you said putting in the keywords.. How do I do that and also that word 'pasting' gets me confused. If you would be so kind and clarify this for me. You always such great help and really help. Some write and write but going around and around and at the end there is nothing. Thank you again. As you can read I am so grateful.
great information.i hope that would not be a breach of agreement with any of the affiliates though? please guide me.Thanks.
Bookmarked. I will re-read this tonight, when I have time to better digest it and learn from it. Another quality hub sunforged, thankyou.
Thumbed up and awesomed :)
I've been searching high and low for an updated list like this one, and who is surprised that it comes from Sunforged?! This is a very helpful hub for many of us. Thanks a bundle and thumbs up to you!
This is one awesome list! Thanks so much for sharing it. Bookmarked!
Love and peace
Tony
Thank you for this great information! I knew about RSS feed & its importance, but it's great to get the details.
As usual your hubs are a wealth of information. Thanks for sharing the list about where to submit RSS feeds.
Great List sunforged. Always avoided RSS up til now as didnt realy understand it. Now you have given me a great excuse to diuve in. Think I will try the RSSSubmit trial though rather than past individually.
Rated up and bookmarked for future reference.
Great ideas here sunforged and this is an impressive list. Thanks for sharing your knowledge here.
Great stuff - I submitted a load of feeds to MK's original list, but I hadn't worked out the feedburner thing properly, so will have another rss session at the weekend!
you're so resourceful, just a AAA hubber! thanks for this excellent hub. :]
Nice lists. I will definitely try some of these.
Should you just add the rss to as many sites as possible, reasonably quickly and just leave it or should you type keywords in e.t.c. Great hub by the way.
well done sunforged, comprehensive lists, very impressed!
Thank you for explaining RSS, which I still don't quite understand how it will benefit Hubbers. Know how pinging a blog works, so RSS will become second nature for sure.
FYI, LeighRSS doesn't like Gmail accounts for email, and it wouldn't let me submit my personal RSS "latest" feed...
And RSSSPider needs free registration
Many thanks for this list. It has been a great tool. You have certainly been very generous with your time and this is greatly appreciated.
Good luck with the rest of your 60DC.
Feedgy is also alive and accepting RSS, no registration needed.
Syndic8 requires free eccount
This is fantastic information, thank you.
You have really saved us all a lot of hours with your comprehensive list. I have wriiten a few hubs now and have been learning how to generate more traffic to them. I have been reading and studying all the great hubs on this from other hubpage writers and yourself.
I will get to work on this and watch my traffic explode lol.
just what I was looking for! Thanks a lot. Bookmarking, rating it up, and useful!!
Great hub Sunforged, i'll have a better read tonight.
Top quality as usual.
thank you SIR for this one, I started submitting mine and our 60dc, Take care, Maita
Thanks for answering my question!
I still am learning every day and you my friend are deff one smart guy, rated a big awesome !
With RSS feeds, do they only work going further or do they pull content already published? And how do you know the feed is successful when submitted?
This is very useful and have used for our and my personal feed. Thanks:)
Wow, thanks, you answered some burning questions that I had and I will read and re read and read again this hub until the answers have dropped down the proverbial slot! I feel so much gratitude for hubbers such as yourself who reach out and lend a hand to the rest of us - wish the whole world operated this way. Again, THANK YOU!
Hey thanks for the article. I will definitely look into doing some some RSS feeds from some of the websites you have mentioned.
Thanks once again! Really helpful and informative.
Wow, thanks sunforged! I am still attempting to grasp SEO and the likes, however, this was very helpful. I've completed about 10 so far and will be bookmarking this hub for future reference. If you ever decide to do a class like 60dc again, please let me know. :)
I'm going to bookmark this then set aside time to read it and re-read it. Thanks for writing such a great Hub on RSS. I almost never bother with them.
The best list ever.
Sunforged...Thanks again for this. I have added my RSS to a couple of sites and looked at a few more.
My question is - are some feed sites better for particular information? I write primarily travel related articles and really want to post them to where they might have a change at some exposure. Good thinking or not? Appreciate your expert comments.
very helpful sunforged! This is a reference hub for me.
Just tried to sign up for the free trial but I can't see the offer on the page that comes up.
Man, I was so with you on this... I was reading and thinking, YES, THIS I can do. FInally... I am so going to finally take some control of my online destiny! and then I got to the paragraph where you wrote:
"After, you submit rss feeds for your main sites or hubs - you can continue to submit the feeds for all of your supporting sites, ie Twitter, niche blogs, tag pages, specialized feedburner feeds, adsense revenue backlinking sites etc. If it has a feed its probably worth submitting."
I came to about an hour later, on the floor and my wife's cat licking my lips and tasting really fishy. My irises were actually still pressed against my frontal lobe. I blinked them forward and went and took several swift shots of tequila, then re-read it. Still no clue. All I can do is sigh when I read your stuff in the same sort of way I do when I walk by a gym and see the big strong guys lifting weights.
Thank you very much. This hub is so useful and convenient. I will be using this to submit all my sites. Appreciate the summary and links to site as well. Voted up and useful.
If I knew what an RSS feed was, I'm sure I'd find this hub very helpful. But I have to say that I'm pretty surprised that I read through the whole hub and still don't really understand what an RSS feed is and how it actually works. I kept looking for that - did I miss it somewhere?
This is an intermediate/advanced tutorial
Check out Sunforgeds Hub on The internet and internet marketing: a lexicon : http://hubpages.com/hub/Post-Hub-Pages-An-Internet it has an entry for rss , also known as a feed or xml feed - it means really simple syndication, but for the purpose of this method , it means the thing you right click and paste at the suggested location..its technical or semantical meaning is unnecessary.
Thanks for the info. I just bookmarked this for future reference.
A million thanks for such an awesome article!! I have your article bookmarked this is a wealth of information.
Fantastic article! I just posted a question about how to find my rss url and what is a rss feed. Thanx for answering all my questions.
Very, very informative hub. I was looking for an advice on how to submit rss feed to a site and this hub gives very good explanation.
I will go through the list you offered and submit my rss feed. I bookmarked this hub.
If I understood you correctly, I submit my link "Subscribe...", which contains all hubs I have writen until now? This list will be updated automatically every time I publish a new hub, I don't have to do anything else?
hi sunforged,
Thanks for a helpful hub that has been bookmarked!
I've been meaning to learn how to take better advantage of RSS. It's been moved to the top of my to-do list! Steve
Just linked several. Will get back with you peiodically if I notice a difference in traffic. Thanks for the great info!!
I tried right clicking my rss feed and the only option was save page as... When I do that it brings me to another page..I'm not sure what I am doing can you be more specific?
Definitely rating it up, not that you need more affirmations but I find it truly useful. Bookmarking it and thanks.
Thanks for the very useful information. Two observations and one question - 1.There is a visit to the site before it is accepted.
2.Some use ranking and score and insist on a minimum score for the feed
The question is:
Some sites suggest again that their backlink should be posted which means that the code be inserted below text, but hub page does not seem to accept the buttons on the page, am I right? How to include the code in hub pages? With other sites like blogger and wordpress no problem with it.
Bookmarking this also - thanks sunforged - I find it is all such a minefield...cheers
Thank you for presenting this useful Hub to get free traffic for our sites submitting RSS Feeds to various directories. You have added a big list of RSS Feed directories! Great Job!
A very good and useful hub. Thumb up.
I have the following suggestions in this regard:
1. Do not submit to too many RSS sites.choose most suitable four sites and feed them.
2.Submit only 3 RSS feeds,i.e. feeds of 3 articles to a site each day.
3. Submit to only two RSS sites perday, not for more.
4.Maintain a document in the form of a computer file recording your submissions, datewise and tittlewise.
5 It is enough if RSS of one article is submitted to a website once. But in case of url submissions to search engines, except in some cases, every submission needs to be resubmitted after 60 days.
RSS feed is powerful concept
gr8 work
This is a wonderful resource, and one that I fully hope works, I have taken the time to do the first batch on your list however 2rss does not wish to allow me to register; it keeps telling me that it cannot connect...
I will get to doing the rest over the next couple of days :)
Rated up :D
Great hub - very informative - I learned a WHOLE lot - thank bunches!!!!!!!!
Really nice list. Helpful for me. Can anyone give me a list of some News Feed submission sites.
Wow! Very helpful indeed! Thanks a bunch!
Just started using Feed Shark and love it!
Thank you so much, I didn't realize how to do this, and I've been on hubpages for three months. I'm curious now that I understand this to a small degree, whether I will see any results as a result. (redundancy not on purpose) lol.
Thanks. I have found so many helpful articles but so many more to go. Hubbers are the greatest.
thank for the list man this will help a lot
Cool list for RSS submission. How frequest this sites will crawled by google?
Bookmarked for future reference and THANK YOU for all the useful information!

I was just thinking about rss feed and how to use it yesterday. Thanks
As always, good information worth reading.
I am going to start doing this now! This seems like it will work for me to get more traffic.
An RSS feed would be great for me. I am an author who spends a lot of time answering messages from one site or the other.
I have NO idea what RSS means. Can you help me with this so I can get my life in order and have more time for writing.

Is it really worth submitting feeds to RSS sites? I did not get any result though I submitted my blog to more than 300 RSS sites.
Looks like I have a bunch more work to do!
Great information on RSS sites, thanks for the detailed list.
Dude, I can remember around 5 months ago telling you to publish this list as a hubpage. You said that you wouldn't, but you did, and I am glad that you did... good hub.
thanks for the information, I have bookmarked this page so that I can come back and use your list to submit my new site to. I have been looking for information just like this...
Thanks for these lists sunforged. Indeed RSS feeds are powerful tools for building links to your site and providing backlinks. Yet, not all are familiar with these RSS submission sites and how indeed powerful they are. I will have to check on these sites. Thanks!
How many of these RSS Feed sites create do follow links?
Thanks - great page I finally have got around to submitting RSS thanks to your links :)
Thanks mate.
That was easy, I just need to figure out that ping thing some of them was asking for, then I will be sorted :)
Wow thanks so much
Understanding RSS feeds and what they're for took me quite a long time, and I know I still have a lot to learn about them - I wish I had found this article way back then already, well done.
One Word: Wow!
Incredible useful hub, bookmarked, thumbed up and awesomed! Thanks for writing that up for us! SY
A very interesting information. I discover America for myself every time I read hubs like this. I tired to submit my RSS and this what I got, what does it mean? -
"The submission was successful. Thank you!
0 resources were submitted, 0 were ignored due to an earlier submission."
P.S. rated up, awsomed, and more! And bookmarked.
So, does it mean that my submission was accepted, or not? Those zeroes confused me....
Thanks for your help!
Just tried readablog, it's not currently working. Thanks for the great hub! Very useful!
great info, very usefull and informative, thanks for publication
I admit that I still don't know what an RSS feed is and what to do with it. Sigh! But this hub is really helpful so I shall bookmark it right now and use it as a guide. Thanks so much.
Rated way up and more!
Sunforged, you won't remember, but I complained about the time for google to index my hubs and from your advice I ended up here.
Studied up on rss feeds until I understood what they are, then studied up and figured out how to separate my hubs into groups for rss purposes.
Submitted several feeds to each of your sites, and overnight all my hubs indexed - it was almost certainly from the feeds.
Thanks for the hub and advice; most useful!
This is a great hub. I've been looking for info about RSS feeds. This explained everything I need to know. Thanks for posting this!
Great info thanks! I needed more clarification about RSS feeds and you provided it.

Great read, I have been submitting to several rss lists, now this gives me even more! Eventually I will move to automated submission because it is indeed time consuming.
Thanks for this! Awesome summary!
Sunforged thank you for this Hub. I'm still new and learning more everyday. This is a great help!
Thanks for the list. It really saves me a great deal of time. Will definitely put it to use.
So true that RSS submission sites come and go. As of July 2010, Feedag.com has been "disabled." As usual, thanks for substantive information.
very informative information about RSS feeds. I think it is an amazing tool to pull in information from relevant websites and incorporate it into your own website! Google loves content that updates on a regular basis and an RSS feed is a perfect way to do just that.
man this is just a great complilation and very well down info about rss really appreciate wat you have done here ...

Thanks for all the great information. I will be referring to this and will try it.
I simply love this blog. It opened a new world of possibilities. Let's do it.
Thanks
Thank you, this was very helpful. You showed me so much that I am not doing. Time for me to get after it.
I just want to say thanks for this. I am having one heck of a time with rss at the moment for my new site as my browser cannot see any rss for some strange and unknown reason (tried in a diff browser and it works tho that browser tends to be too heavy on the computer and can crash it if left open to long) but I managed one submission from your links. Good to at least get something done even tho now I am exhausted and ready to eat and go to bed!
Thank you for the great information. I am currently trying to promote an online team based opportunity on multiple hubs that have slightly different subject topics, and will use the rss sites that you have outlined to submit my information to. And also, what is your take on pinging an rss fed site? Should pinging be done as often as possible or a certain amount of times per week for each site to get noticed? Thank you!
Gr8 piece of information...all thums up!!!
but a questions arises in my mind, hope I get an answer to it from you..
Do I violate google adsense policies by submitting my hub or site to the list of RSS feeds suggested by you?
Thank you for this. I was looking for a simple way to get more traffic and you explained one perfectly!
truly great guide, very comprehensive hub thanks for putting all this in one place
Good information for me ... I just bookmarked it. I still don't quite understand, though. Do other people go to these site looking for something to read? Or how does it work? Thanks!
Very informative. I'm wondering if it's worth doing though.. i.e. what are the benefits?
Here is another I found feedgy.com Thanks for the extremely informative hub. I have bookmarked it.
@rotl - If you read the article toward the end it says that once you submit your RSS feed will continue updating when you write new articles. Because of that you don't have to separately submit every single article every time you write. It's another direction to drive traffic and a way to backlink. All of this equals more income potential.
@sunforged - thanks for the easy explanation of RSS submission. I'd read others talking about it but couldn't figure out the exact way to do it or how it worked. Your hub is a great and has pertinent resources. Thanks.
Great hub....I refer back to it often.
Very useful info, especially for beginners like me. Thanks a lot!
Thanks so much your very generous advice is clear and easy to follow.
thanks for putting this together. I've finally figured out how to make an RSS feed - it was one of those things I left for later as was too overwhelming
Thanks for writing such an informative Hub. Priceless information.
Wow, Great List , Thanks
O my goodness, what an article, you rocked with this rss submission site list, I have submitter my rss's to those directories and all got approved...
Didn't know a thing about RSS and now I do! Thanks!
Thanks for the tips on RSS. It has confused me for some time and your explanation is very beneficial to me.
Great list-post, sunforged! This one can keep us busy for quite a while! Thanks.
Feed Shark has always been in my trusty toolbox!
Thanks a stack for this info, Sunforged. Much appreciated. :-)
WOW! I feel like I am in Chemistry Class again, and taking notes as my professor talked. Your information is so amazing and just what I needed. However, I will probably need to read it again, but I do have my notes.
I thank you so much for sharing with someone who has written blogs, but now I need traffic to them, and know very little about doing it.
Thanks,
Bobbi
Thanks so much for such a well-researched hub! Really appreciate all the help in finding RSS sites to register with. You made this process so much easier! Voted up!
Great hub thanks, this was really usefull, and put your tips into action straight away.
Thank you so much for your list... I have never paid much attention to RSS feeds but we certainly have to start now!
I'm doing this now. Was disappointed in FeedAgg's "no firearms" policy....effing liberal fascist!
Golden Feed - you can't get a more easy thing to do than that one!!!
Think I'll work through the list. Thanks for the great info!
Wesman, perhaps Sunforged will update this hub as some of the RSS info is outdated and lately using RSS feeds are suspect for some of us, especially with the new Google likes and dislikes. I'd be careful and not do too much with this without knowing the consequences of your actions.
I know many are simply removing the feeds in hopes it will help them get out of the Google sandbox because of the implication the feeds may show up as duplicate content else where on the net.
Personally, I have no clue about this stuff, but hope someone--perhaps Sunforged-- may clear up the questions some of us have concerning the different types of tags used on the feeds and the expected results one may expect from using them.
Okay, Josh! I wasn't sure as I've seen so much on the forums concerning the RSS feeds and didn't want Wesman doing the wrong thing. Sorry I misunderstood. It's what I usually do on the technical side of this stuff. LOL!

Oh, and another question totally unrelated to this hub and feel free to delete it at your pleasure, is "How does one check the affiliate code on the adobe flash player ads on the upper right and bottom of many of my hubs"? I've tried hovering over them, right clicking on them, all with nothing to show as to who gets the revenue for these eye-catching ads. Or do we get paid for them at all, if you know?
I took the Ryan Kett advice months ago, and deleted all the RSS Feeds on all of my hubs.
Of course that spiked my traffic for a bit because the content on the entire group of pages changed.
THEN following that...was exactly when I went playing in the sandbox, and sank to where I thought that fifty hits from Google.com was a GOOD traffic day!!!!!!!!!!!!
It might have been coincidence....but in any case I wasn't sandboxed for more than six weeks, and whenever that was all over and done my traffic went back to normal, and then increased due to me always learning more and more about how to make a good web article anyway.
I did the same with little or no effect, Wesman. There is so much advice to sift through from different viewpoints I rarely listen to any of them. Besides, Google can destroy one's traffic whenever they so choose, no matter how straight you play the game. :)
True.
Lots of factors involved!!!!
Still, I think RSS Feeds are pretty awesome when you can use them, and since I no longer use them here on my hubs I like to find uses for them elsewhere. I've got them running on my free wordpress blog, and a few other sites already.
I'd done some of this free RSS Feed submission a long time ago, and figure it's probably not going to hurt too much to do a little bit more. I'd probably not wish to submit to all the submission sites listed here, but a few additional backlinks won't throw someone into suspicion....at least I hope they won't!
Thanks Josh, I suspected all of the ads had either mine or HP's code displayed at one time. But I didn't know Adsense only allowed one ID per page because it seems I've noticed more than 2 codes displayed on one page before. I supposed they were both HP's codes cause they weren't mine. I could be wrong about remembering this or simply saw a number which I assumed was a code.
I wish HP would simply display their codes on all of our hubs for the first 24 minutes of each hour and on ours for the last 36 minutes so everything would be easy to keep track of. What would be the purpose of having each hub ID code change at a different time?
Anyway, thanks for the info. I wish HP had someone who could, or would, answer these type questions when asked on the forums. Then I wouldn't have to bother you guys with this stuff. Old dudes like me have a tough time understanding all of this. You'll understand what I mean in about 30 or 40 years. LOL!
I keep wondering - what are these RSS feed sites for? Who uses the feeds that are submitted?
In the current climate, with Google targetting "unnatural" links, I'm wondering if these RSS feed aggregators could be the next target. It seems to me that the main purpose of these sites is to let webmasters submit their feeds - but nobody much really uses the output...
