So if Aunties are attractive older women why do all the articles lead to young hot women? Clearly the term should be associated with a non-western MILF style site. Well, I hope I got a few smiles, i had been sitting on the keyword idea for a bit and ha d a bit of a writing and photoshop block going on, so i used this hub to get the ball rolling again.
As far as stats go, my initial experiment is already completed, unlike our own sites, when we upload images to hubpages the file name is changed, so having the keyword rich file names seems to have been defeated.
...did you see what i did there, points to how i changed a .05 cent return to 1.50+ return

Uh oh, my brain has melted...but seriously. This is a funny experiment. I used to try keyworded filenames for photos, but realized as you did that they are changed when uploaded, so now I don't bother. If I want the keywords with photos, I use the caption text. A couple of my hubs get regular traffic from google images though, but I'm not sure how images with a filename consisting of numbers and no caption text consistently get found. The G's algo is definitely "smart."
I found this hub through doing some searches about hubpages myself. It is hard to understand why anyone would look for hubpage aunties rather than just aunties, if that is what they want.
Maybe they are looking for glamorous hubpage authors? I don't think they'll be finding me if that is the case but maybe someone should do a hub about glamourous hubbers?
Global Monthly Search Volume for [hubpages aunties] is now at 5,400, rofl, seems this whole thing has developed a live on its own! BTW, would you share visitor statistics and average earning results with us? Just to give us an indication on how well this kind of hub can do ;-) SY
@hospitalera - earnings on this hub are complete garbage, it attracts non-us traffic so it is mostly valueless to advertisers and useless for ebay/amazon as I present it. hubs like these will bring down your overall earning capacity from your adsense portfolio. I intentionally sabotaged this hub many times when traffic started to pick up. It has seen 10K views from g.com alone and probably has earned less than 3.00 ever. I did it for fun and research i do NOT suggest wasting your time with this model.
