Buying Salvage Parts Cars on eBay

One great hint:

Often a non-operational parts or junk car is not listed at a per part basis, feel free to contact a seller and request the sale of a specific part or be sure that the part is included.

On big ticket items be sure to only deal with Sellers with perfect to near perfect selling histories, the selection above is based on sellers with stellar performance, but be sure to do your own checking into their feedback.

eBay offers Vehicle sale protection of up to $50,000 on eligible vehicles, cjeck through the listing and see what level of protection is available.

Often a free vehicle history report is available in the listing - You dont get that buying from a normal stranger!

Big Ticket Cars will often require a deposit after successful auction end, make sure you get that off as soon as its requested..

Nice hub, A year or so ago I bought a driver's side fender for my chevy cavalier off of Ebay. Everything went okay and I saved about $90 over a local aftermarket one.

My husband's grandson works in a salvage yard and has got us some very inexpensive parts that are 'as new' so I would definitely recommend buying parts this way if you know what you are doing!

Some guys have caught on and started their own salvage yard business and actually sell mainly to local wheel, wheel cover and tires businesses around the corner and not joe public.

I sold one of my old rovers bit by bit rather than as a whole - made about 3 times as much doing it that way and still got something from the "scrappy" for what was left..

eBay is the best place to buy anything for cheap, also amazon is now starting to get more and more of the car parts sellers.
